You must get the developer license to try Thesis 1.6 today or wait a few days to try it with the standard license.Difference between developer license and standard license is that the developer license allows you to use Thesis on more than one blog.

The wonderful Thesis wordpress theme comes with two sidebars which are very configurable.  You can insert widgets into either sidebar, exactly as you wish.
